Job Description
As the Kitchen and Bakery Manager, you will oversee the culinary operations of both our kitchen and bakery departments. Your role involves managing a team of cooks, bakers, and pastry chefs, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality food and baked goods while maintaining standards of excellence in taste, presentation, and safety.

Responsibilities: As a Kitchen manager, you must know how to prepare Club sandwiches, pasta, and others Lead and supervise kitchen and bakery staff, including cooks, bakers, pastry chefs, and assistants, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Plan, organize, and oversee daily operations in the kitchen and bakery, coordinating production schedules to meet demand. Develop and standardize recipes for savory dishes, baked goods, and pastries, ensuring consistency and excellence in taste and presentation. Manage inventory levels of food ingredients, baking supplies, and finished products, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock. Monitor food costs, labor expenses, and budgetary constraints while implementing strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize waste. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations in both kitchen and bakery operations. Maintain equipment, ensuring proper functionality, maintenance, and adherence to safety standards. Collaborate with the culinary team to introduce new menu items, specials, and baked goods, aligning with seasonal changes and customer preferences. Oversee the presentation and display of dishes and baked goods, ensuring they meet visual standards and appeal to customers. Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and special orders, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction. Qualifications: Proven experience in managerial roles within both kitchen and bakery settings. Comprehensive knowledge of culinary techniques, baking, pastry creation, and food presentation. Strong leadership and team management skills, capable of motivating and developing cohesive kitchen and bakery teams. Excellent organizational and time management abilities to oversee diverse production schedules and deadlines. Understanding of cost control, inventory management, and budgeting principles in food production. Proficient computer skills for inventory tracking, scheduling, and basic accounting tasks. Creativity and innovation to introduce new menu items, recipes, and baked goods. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in both food production and baking. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy bags of ingredients or equipment. Dexterity for intricate pastry and culinary tasks.
