Job Description
As a Street Bread Salesperson, you will play a crucial role in our bakery's success by selling our freshly baked bread and related products directly to customers on the streets. Your energy, customer service skills, and ability to engage with passersby will contribute to increasing sales and promoting our bakery's offerings.
Requirement(s)
Responsibilities: Set up and operate a street-side bread sales station, showcasing our bakery products attractively. Engage with pedestrians and passersby in a friendly manner to promote and sell our bread products. Maintain a clean and organized sales area, ensuring the display is well- stocked and visually appealing. Provide information about the various types of bread, ingredients used, and any specials or promotions. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, providing change and issuing receipts as needed. Monitor inventory levels, restock products as necessary, and report on sales trends or customer preferences. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards in handling and displaying the bread products. Keep records of daily sales and report sales figures to management regularly. Qualifications: Prior experience in sales, particularly in food sales or street vending, is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers effectively. Ability to work independently, displaying initiative and self-motivation. Basic math skills for handling transactions and maintaining sales records. Stamina and resilience to work in varying weather conditions and stand for extended periods. Understanding of hygiene and safety practices related to food handling. A friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for delivering great customer service. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move boxes or trays of bread. Agility to set up and dismantle the sales station as required.
