Job Description
Drive vehicle for official travel and business.Maintain a high standard of service to both internal and external guests.Ensure punctuality and safe transportObserving the road and traffic laws and regulations of the countryEnsure that safe driving practices are adhered to including local driving codes and internally agreed standards.Alcohol must not be consumed or present whilst on duty Ensure vehicle is kept clean, tidy and in good working condition at all timesEnsure vehicle is kept secure at all timesEnsure the vehicle is given regular/day-to-day maintenance checks: check oil, water, battery, brakes, tyres, etc.Prepare and submit vehicle monitoring reports, including records of vehicle operations, maintenance, expenses, mileage, at the end of each month (On timesheets).Ensure vehicle insurance and registration is updated according to schedule Have a good sense of directionResearch destinations to ensure complete understanding of exactly where the destination is located.Maintain awareness of current road systems and conditions by monitoring news and traffic reports, adjusting routes as necessary to avoid delays.Be punctual and plan to arrive at a destination at least 5 minutes prior to appointment. Require a valid Driver’s LicenseAlways obey current road safety rules and regulations.Display good driver behavior and road use etiquette. Candidate should be attentive and available on a 24 hour call basis even on weekends.Maintain strict confidentiality on all conversations and information overheard during transport assignments. Ensure good care of company vehicleDrive fuel efficiently. Minimize hard acceleration and braking.Do not use the vehicle for personal use.Maintain driver log book and complete pre-trip inspectionsReport any problems or accidents with the vehicle to management and undertake necessary solutions Valid driver’s license.Clean driving record.Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.The ability to utilize maps, GPS systems, and car manuals.Effective communication skills.Punctual and reliable.Must be a resident of Dzorwulu or its environs.
