Job Description
As a space systems engineer on our team, you will work with Booz Allen colleagues and the military to develop and deploy the next-generation Space Domain Awareness (SDA) ground software that processes data from sensors across the globe and delivers critical information to our warfighters to quickly win or even prevent future wars. Your client will trust you to develop mission workflows, transition plans, and data flow diagrams and lead integration activities serving as the bridge between software development teams and mission stakeholders. You will grow your skills by researching new requirements, technologies, and threats and using innovative engineering methodologies and tools to create tomorrow’s solutions.
Requirement(s)
Basic Qualifications: Experience with test planning, focusing on coordination of software functionality with government test organizations and mission operators Ability to perform multiple program management functions in support of quarterly test events and program planning events Ability to manage risks, analyze root causes, propose Courses of Actions (COAs) with quantitative pros and cons, and implement recommended solutions Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with stakeholders to achieve program goals, including government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates Secret clearance Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field Nice If You Have: 5+ years of experience with large-scale space missions and integration on national security space programs 2+ years of experience with using Model-Based Systems Engineering tools, including Sparx EA, MagicDraw, and Cameo Experience with performing systems engineering, integration, and testing on Space Domain Awareness systems, including ATLAS, CAVENet, NDPP, CPS, and Warp Core Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills Possession of excellent interpersonal skills
