Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Android Developer to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications that meet the latest industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Android development, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating innovative and user-friendly apps.
Requirement(s)
Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain multiple Android applications Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, product, and engineering Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Java, Kotlin, and Android SDK Implement new features and functionalities, and improve existing ones Troubleshoot and resolve issues, crashes, and bugs Optimize app performance, battery life, and memory usage Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and technologies Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall codebase Experience in hybrid framework such as React Native, Flutter will be advantageous Experience with Android development tools, such as Android Studio, Gradle, and Android NDK Knowledge of design patterns, such as MVP, MVVM, and MVC Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and Scrum Experience in APIs and multiple integration Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience 3+ years of experience in Android development Strong knowledge of Java, Kotlin, and Android SDK Experience with Android frameworks, such as Room, LiveData, and ViewModel Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and networking Experience with version control systems, such as Git Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical mindset Excellent communication and team collaboration skills NB: If you're passionate about full stack development and have a track record of delivering high-quality applications, please submit your resume, cover letter, and portfolio to usajobs@onedotworld.com Salary Range: Ghc4000.00 - Ghc 6000.00 Location: ( Accra) Employment Type: ( Full Time)
