Job Description
We offer a post of Project Officer in the Cooperation Section under a permanent contract. Under the supervision of the Team Leader, the selected candidate will manage the implementation of cooperation projects with Ghana in the field of natural resources, manage other projects of horizontal nature and provide support for ad-hoc tasks of other cooperation sections. The place of employment is Delegation of the European Union to Ghana -The Round House - 81. Cantonments Road, P. O. Box 9505 KIA, Accra, Ghana. The selected candidate will be recruited at a minimum basic salary of 19,000.00 GHS (step 1 of the salary grid). Final salary will depend on number of years of relevant proven experience. Benefits, such as accommodation allowance, additional pension scheme and medical insurance are offered to employees and their families under certain conditions. We are looking for a team player with good writing, communication and negotiation skills. A resourceful professional capable of making public presentations, comfortable in a multi-cultural environment, with a good sense of initiative and able to deliver very well on short notice.
