Job Description

Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) - is a public-benefit federal enterprise working in more than 100 countries worldwide. We work on behalf of the German Government and support public and private sector clients in a wide variety of areas, including economic development and employment, energy and environment, and peace and security. Our activities in Ghana cover three priority areas: Climate and Energy, Just Transition; Sustainable Economic Development, Training and Employment, and Peaceful and Inclusive Societies, which focuses on good governance. Project Brief: Digital Transformation for Inclusive Entrepreneurship in Ghana (DTEG). The project improves the framework conditions for sustainable and inclusive economic development for micro and small women-led enterprises in Ghana. Its aim is to improve the conditions for digital transformation and digital services for women and strengthening digital skills. The implementation is in six selected regions with a gender transformative approach. Achieving better business conditions for women-led micro- enterprises and policy advisory on regional and national level

Requirement(s)

Qualification Required & Experience • Bachelors/Masters degree in social sciences, public policy, development cooperation, ICT, economics, or any other project related field. • A minimum of five years’ work experience in the research, Public Policy landscape, preferably digital policy. • Deep understanding of the digital policy and entrepreneurship landscape of Ghana and opportunities that currently exist for the advancement of the ecosystem. • Work experience with public sector institutions and experience working with local government and civil society organizations. • Knowledge and experience in organizing ecosystem events and stakeholders that contribute to the advancement of the space. • Excellent knowledge of gender-related issues. • Strong knowledge of ICT technologies and computer applications. • Excellent team-working and communication skills as well as excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. • Excellent knowledge of English. • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, MS Team, Word, Excel, Power Point, • Ability to work under pressure of deadlines, high degree of flexibility, attention to detail Location: Accra How To Apply For The Job Interested and suitable applicants are to forward their Curriculum Vitae (CV) and a one-page cover letter stating their motivation to the position and added value to the project to: recruitment-ghana@giz.de quoting the Job Code 2024/DTEG-TA/19/08 in the subject line.
