Job Vacancy For Technical Advisor (Digital Impact & Policy)
Job Description
Advice National and local Government structures to opportunities within the digital policy, emerging technology, entrepreneurship, and cooperation landscape of Ghana for project implementation. • Work in a team of advisors to support the implementation of projects activities in Accra and selected regions in Ghana. • Lead in conduct thorough reviews, research and assessments of the digital economy landscape, analyzing its economic impact on both national and regional scales. • Collaborate with local partners to develop monitoring and evaluation processes and tools aimed at measuring the impact of public interventions. • Put in place structures to coordinate and maintain proper oversight of activities outside of Accra. • Draft paper, statements, presentations, and briefing documents in digitalization, policy, gender and support to macro-level stakeholders. • Conception and organization of events, workshops, and meetings. • Provide advice to partners and stakeholders on digitalization and gender. • Support the development of proposals, and the implementation of tenders. • Cooperation with and coordination of consultants in project implementation.
Requirement(s)
Bachelors/Masters degree in social sciences, public policy, development cooperation, ICT, economics, or any other project related field. • A minimum of five years’ work experience in the research, Public Policy landscape, preferably digital policy. • Deep understanding of the digital policy and entrepreneurship landscape of Ghana and opportunities that currently exist for the advancement of the ecosystem. • Work experience with public sector institutions and experience working with local government and civil society organizations. • Knowledge and experience in organizing ecosystem events and stakeholders that contribute to the advancement of the space. • Excellent knowledge of gender-related issues. • Strong knowledge of ICT technologies and computer applications. • Excellent team-working and communication skills as well as excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. • Excellent knowledge of English. • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, MS Team, Word, Excel, Power Point, • Ability to work under pressure of deadlines, high degree of flexibility, attention to detail Location: Accra How To Apply For The Job Interested and suitable applicants are to forward their Curriculum Vitae (CV) and a one-page cover letter stating their motivation to the position and added value to the project to: recruitment-ghana@giz.de quoting the Job Code 2024/DTEG-TA/19/08 in the subject line.
