Job Description

To maintain record of receipts as well as issuance of items that are going out of the warehouse to ensure accuracy and completeness To be involved in reconciliation of physical stock with the stock in the system To oversee that the arrangement of goods has been done in an orderly system within the stock location system so that the stock can be stored easily and retrieved whenever there is a requirement. Similarly, he/she ensures that the stocks stay physically protected in the warehouse To undertake the function of stock taking and confirm the periodic stock on a regular basis by working closely with the designated staff members To supervise the offloading process, the subsequent arrangement of merchandise, material, etc., and consignment so that it can be accessed and identified easily To ensure the correct and timely valuation of the inventory and to be involved in directing and managing procedures related to offloading, packing and unpacking To prepare periodic reports on the activities in the warehouse like the consignment received, the quantity of items received, point of collection and dispatch, stacking number, outstanding balance, etc.  To provide the best service needs to the existing as well as the new customers and ensures that each customer remains satisfied.   To supervise the work of junior staff in the unit  Maintaining ISO documentation and Record Keeping Perform any other duties as assigned Knowledge of and adherence to all TAGG’s OHS&E procedures  Follow all safe work procedures, rules, and instructions relating to work Hazard identification and reporting Wear appropriate PPEs for work at all time Knowledge on the safe use of all tools and equipment as applicable  Good knowledge of the methods used in keeping records of purchases, receipts and payments and maintaining general supplies Good knowledge of the fundamentals of inventory controls Numerical ability to perform rapid and accurate arithmetic computations using a calculator Ability to effectively use computer applications such as spreadsheet, word processing, email and database software.  Ability to use a computerized inventory control system, where applicable Ability to plan and supervise the work of others Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions Organizational skills Good judgment Honest and trustworthy Respectful and polite Punctual and flexible Demonstrates sound work ethics Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, and other related fields. Three (3) Years’ Experience in a similar role.
