React Team Unit Manager
Job Description
The Operations Manager for the Rapid React Team (RRT) is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of time-sensitive deployments of systems, personnel, and equipment in response to client calls. This OM will ensure that deployment operations run efficiently, effectively, and on schedule, while meeting safety, quality, and performance standards. The role demands strong leadership, logistical expertise, and the ability to manage complex operations in dynamic, high-pressure environments.
Requirement(s)
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Operations Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in Security operations or logistics management is a plus. 5+ years of experience in operations management, logistics, or rapid deployment operations, with a track record of managing high-stakes projects. Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and resource allocation. Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and complex operations under time-sensitive conditions. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in high-pressure situations. Familiarity with risk assessment, crisis management, and safety protocols Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)) and any logistics software. Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills for managing both internal and external stakeholders. Ability to get to locations on short notice for operational actions when required.
