Locum/Part-Time Biomedical Scientist (BS)
Job Description
Contributes to planning and development of activities for improvement in laboratory diagnostic services Supervise and ensure the provision of accurate laboratory reports within acceptable turnaround times. Oversee the monitoring of turnaround times and management of internal and external quality control measures. Supervise the delivery of laboratory tests to ensure efficient and quality delivery of lab services Undertake technical validation and reproducibility test of laboratory instrumental analysis to ensure accuracy and precision as specified by laboratory protocols Ensure strict adherence to preventive maintenance schedules of all laboratory instruments at all times Manage quality control failures or loss of performance of laboratory instruments or methods and make referrals when indicated Interprets laboratory results and take appropriate actions eg. Advising clinical care team when need arises.
Requirement(s)
A 1st degree and Medical Lab Sciences from a recognized institution Certification from Allied Health Professional Council
