Fire Engineer
Job Description
Review and inspection of fire safety design and analysis including fire detection, suppression, and alarm systems, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards on nuclear fire safety such as the NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) and IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) standards. Review of fire risk assessment, fire safety inspections, and fire protection system installation and maintenance, including overseeing installation, testing, and maintenance of fire protection systems.
Requirement(s)
Master’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Bachelors degree in any of the above with significant experience in fire engineering could be considered.
