Job Description
Reading blueprints and plans: Understanding construction drawings and specifications for the placement and bending of steel. Cutting and bending steel: Using machinery and tools to cut and bend steel bars and rods to required shapes and sizes. Assembly: Tying and securing the steel reinforcements together to create frameworks for concrete structures like beams, columns, and slabs. Quality control: Ensuring that the steel reinforcements are correctly placed and meet the design and structural requirements. Safety: Following safety standards and using protective equipment to prevent injuries.
