SOCIAL WORKER
Job Description
Visit children on the street, interact with them, offer support, and refer them for care and protection. Conduct comprehensive assessments of street-connected children, children at risk of street life, and their families to identify needs, strengths, and risks. Develop and implement individualized case plans that address immediate needs and long-term goals for children and families. Engage with young adults for career development and prepare them to transition into apprenticeship/TVET programs through needs-based interventions. Engage in community outreach programs and activities to build supportive networks for children and families. Provide direct support to children and families, helping them navigate challenges. Assist children in transitioning to formal education systems and collaborate with schools to ensure children needs are met. Manage the processes of children transitioning from street situations to their families for successful reintegration. Strengthen families to function optimally as primary agents of socialization. Identify, establish, and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders to harness resources that strengthen clients, their families, and communities.
