Deputy Chief of Party Elevate Nutrition
Job Description
Support the COP to provide technical leadership and contribute to the strategic vision for the project. Ensure that all project activities are technically sound, cohesive, and well-integrated across governance, nutrition, food systems and resilience technical areas. Oversee the work of a team of project technical personnel, providing supervision, mentorship support, and ensuring a coordinated implementation approach. Develop and manage program team priorities, work plans and budgets, ensuring activities are delivered on time, within budget and in accordance with USAID and FHI 360 policies and procedures. Oversee development the technical activities in annual work plans and the support the development of quarterly and annual progress reports to USAID. Support the COP in representing the project to USAID and key government and development partner stakeholders, and at conferences or other knowledge exchange events. Develops strategies and tools for the design and implementation of specific technical components. Promote gender equality and social inclusion in the design and implementation of activities, guided by the ELEVATE Nutrition Gender Strategy.
