IT Support Officer
Job Description
The holder of the role is responsible for administering all databases, Networking and systems, including but not limited to, jBase databases, SQL databases and business applications, the holder will also set up and administer, configure backup solutions. In addition, serve as a technical expert in the area of system and Network administration for complex operating systems amongst others.
Requirement(s)
Required Bachelor’s degree in the area of Computer Information Systems, Management information Systems, Computer Science or Technical related field. Systems, Management information Systems, Computer Science or Technical related field. At least 3 years’ hands on experience in managing large databases, SQL server system administration, in complex systems design, programming and systems software and support. Experience in jBase, SQL running on Linux and Windows platforms will be added advantage. Certification - SQL Server Administration. Attention to detail, analytical skills and ability to research and apply problem solving skills. Excellent communication, customer focus and interpersonal relations skills.
