Night / Utility Person
Job Description
Follow a maintenance and cleaning schedule Replace light bulbs and make repairs to light fixtures Maintain landscaping, lawns, outbuildings, parking areas and fencing Conduct routine maintenance on building systems Service and clean tools and equipment Operate water pump to ensure constant flow of water Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secured environment Go on patrols regularly, inspect buildings, equipment and access points and permit entry Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures and restraining trespassers Keep all office keys and hand over appropriately Ensure that all lights, fans and other electrical gadgets are off Ensure outside and security lights are on in the evenings Run errands for the office Keep an incidence report book and report daily At least BECE or NP1&2 of TVET A certificate in security guard training At least 3 years’ experience working in a similar capacity Good communication and presentation skills Ability to work with minimum supervision
