Operations Manager
Job Description
The Operations Manager, APIL will be the lead role in running the day-to- day logistics and operational management of the project. The Operations Team ensures effective management, oversight, and implementation of projects across the program activities, ensuring streamlined and USAID- compliant actions. Oversee the daily operations of the project, ensuring smooth implementation of activities. Ensure compliance with operational policies, procedures, and systems to streamline project operations. Manage project logistics, including office administration, travel arrangements, and procurement of goods and services. Oversee the project’s IT infrastructure, ensuring that appropriate technology and systems are in place for efficient communication and operations. Conduct annual inventory audits to ensure adequate inventory management, inventory and IT asset tracking, and supply replenishment. Support the development and submission of periodic operational reports to the project Senior Management Team.
Requirement(s)
Bachelor’s degree in operations management, business administration, or related field. Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in operations or an administrative role. Proven line management experience, demonstrating effective team leadership. Previous experience working with USAID is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills to facilitate clear and effective collaboration. Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks and documentation. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on business need. High level of digital literacy, with proficiency in relevant software and tools such as Microsoft office, Unifi, Concur. Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders, including senior management.
