Program Officer - Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E)
Job Description
The Program Officer – M&E is a critical role as YBF pursues results-based development programming and shall be integral to the Youth Bridge Research Institute. Under the supervision of the Senior Programs Manager for Research, the Program Officer shall contribute to the design of performance management processes and lead the operationalization of institutional and project/program Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) systems. Specific Tasks The primary responsibility the Program Officer – M&E is to manage M&E and socioeconomic databases at YBF. More specifically the Officer will Contribute to finalization of data collection tools (data sheets and questionnaires) Lead the M&E data collection process Lead the implementation of socioeconomic surveys Recruit and train field enumerators and supervisors for surveys Conduct data quality control to ensure data integrity Generate results from the databases and contribute to routine project/institutional reports Be the go-to person for all statistics about project and YBF Duty Station This is a locally recruited position to be based in Accra, Ghana.
