Job Description
The purpose of this assignment is to produce a series of high-quality, visually engaging, and informative fact sheets that document and highlight the impact of the Ghana Fisheries Recovery Activity (GFRA) across several key themes. These fact sheets will serve as knowledge products to communicate GFRA’s achievements, best practices, and lessons learned to stakeholders, partners, and the public. The successful applicant will be responsible for researching, writing, and designing seven fact sheets, each focused on a distinct aspect of GFRA’s work. Each fact sheet should convey technical information in a clear, concise, and visually compelling format that resonates with diverse audiences.
Requirement(s)
Qualifications Strong writing and editing skills with a proven ability to simplify complex topics. Experience with graphic design, layout, and visual storytelling. Ability to work collaboratively and integrate feedback through multiple review cycles. Ability to work under tight schedules, manage extensive review processes, and incorporate feedback. Open-mindedness to iterative review cycles, with a collaborative approach to working with diverse stakeholders. Familiarity with development communications is an asset. Ownership and Copyrights All video documentaries and related materials produced under this contract will be the exclusive property of USAID. The selected agency agrees to transfer all copyright ownership, including the rights to reproduce, distribute, and display the works, to USAID upon completion and acceptance of the final deliverables. The agency shall not use, reproduce, or distribute any of the footage, raw or edited, for any other purpose without prior written consent from USAID How To Apply Submission Requirements Please submit a proposal detailing: 1. A brief concept notes for each theme based on the scope above. 2. Portfolio of previous similar works. 3. A budget proposal inclusive of travel, production, and post-production costs. 4. A project timeline showing stages of production, expected review cycles, and anticipated completion dates.
