Job Description

Job Description The Head of Clinics Operations is responsible for ensuring that the operational delivery channels of MSI clinics have in place an up-to-date strategy, agreed with all key internal and external stakeholders for how the channel may be positioned in the marketplace, grow while retaining excellent clinical quality standards, and achieve ever increasing levels of commercial viability. The post holder in collaboration with Regional managers will manage or be responsible for the implementation of their channel in the field while maintaining the closest of professional relations with Centre managers and their teams. The post holder is one of the key members of the directorate management team for the Directorate of Programs and Regional Operations, and as such plays a critical role in all major operational and strategic decisions for the Directorate. Additionally, the post holder, is a member of MSIG’s leadership group, and as such is expected to contribute to organisation-wise strategy and to model key leadership behaviors and to demonstrate the organisation’s values.

Requirement(s)

Bachelor’s degree in hospital management, public health, or social sciences/development studies (required). Master’s degree in a related field and professional qualifications (e.g., project management, marketing, or sexual and reproductive health) are desirable. Minimum 5 years of relevant post-graduate experience, including 4 years in a hospital management role. Strong commercial mindset with a proven track record in leading and managing teams. Demonstrated experience launching and implementing new projects and activities. Experience working with young people (e.g., behavior change communication, marketing, or peer education programs). Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality reports. Analytical and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Proven ability to identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot, and resolve issues. Strong partnership skills and experience working with NGOs, multilateral/bilateral agencies (e.g., UN), and both public and private health facilities. Experience in sexual and reproductive health is highly desirable. Hardworking, results-driven, and able to work independently with initiative. Collaborative, customer-focused, and a team player with a “can do” attitude. Strong interpersonal skills; capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels (e.g., government, donors, partners, and communities). Passionate about family planning and pro-choice advocacy
