Head Chef at C-Residences and Resort
Job Description
• Participate in the preparation of Ghanaian and Continental food • Oversee and assist the kitchen staff in all aspects of food production • Evaluate food products to ensure consistent quality standards • Develop and maintain kitchen cost control systems • Achieve food cost figures according to agreed standards • Train and supervise the training of all staff, including any apprentices and trainees • Support the Restaurant Manager in the management of the restaurant • Overseeing stock rotation and making sure the kitchen is always well stocked • Being aware of procedures for cleanliness and storage • Ensure statutory health and safety standards are in place in the kitchen and dinning areas • Establish and maintain a regular maintenance schedule for all kitchen areas and equipment
Requirement(s)
• 3+ years of culinary or kitchen experience • Must be creative, innovative and have great communication skill. • Knowledge of food safety standards, organizational, and time management skills. • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage multiple tasks efficiently. • Must be results-oriented and versatile • Must have strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills • Must be a team player with proven abilities to excel in dynamic competitive environments • Must have strong integrity
