Mine Equipment Training Coordinator
Job Description
Communicate all Health and Safety procedures and protocols to site services. Inspect site service equipment and locations to ensure compliance to Newmont Health and Safety standards. Accept personal responsibility for the health and safety of every employee under or assigned to his/her supervision. Abide by and support others in adhering to safe and efficient site service practices to prevent damage to equipment, structures and injury. Oversee that all contractors, including third party bussing and staff transport must comply with Newmont Light Vehicle and control standards.
Requirement(s)
Bachelors’ Degree in a Mining related discipline. Additional Knowledge Blasting Certificate of Competency. Mine Foreman OR Captain Certificate of Competency. Driver Instructor Certificate. OEM Certification. Workplace Trainer and Assessor IV. Trainer Advantage Certification. Experience Minimum of 4 – 6 years’ generalised experience in Mine Operations, with previous facilitation experience, of which 2 – 3 years should be in a supervisory and / or coordinating capacity.
