Warehouse Manager
Job Description
Responsible for receiving products from suppliers into the warehouse using appropriate documentation and approved procedure. Responsible for FEFO (First Expiry/First Out) or FIFO (First in /First Out) implementation in the warehouse. Using a tagging system in the warehouse helps to manage this process well. Responsible for providing information to management on product expiry (raise 3 alarms@ 6months /@ 3months /@ 1 month). Responsible for maintain good warehouse hygiene and daily recording of the thermohydrometer in the warehouse. Responsible for ensuring that there is effective pest control system in the warehouse to control pest infestation. Responsible for off-loading and loading supplier delivery trucks and internal sales delivery trucks within stipulated timelines. Responsible for providing information to management on minimum stock levels of all critical products. Responsible for ensuring that all daily deliveries to customers are done appropriately and captured in the tally system by close of each day-daily outstanding deliveries in the system should be supported with a report from the warehouse manager. Responsible for managing the activities of the loading boys. Minimize damaged products and ensure that all damaged products are accounted for and treated as per supplier’s product returns policy. Responsible for assisting the accounts team with end of month stock count.
Requirement(s)
HND Holder or its equivalent. With a 2-3 years of working experience. Must have an effective time management. Customer Handling experience. Must be good with objection handling. Proper planning and organizing skills Microsoft word, Excel and tally software. Skill- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to handle customer interactions.
