Job Description
Key Responsibilities General Administrative Tasks: Compile, review and summarize daily security reports, monthly time sheets of inhouse and contract security staff and provide clerical support to the security management team. Scheduling Prepare monthly shift roster and annual leave roster of inhouse and contract security staffs including the scheduling of security staff meetings, durbars and training sessions. Record Keeping And Filing Maintain accurate and up-to-date security records including filing and archiving of PS accountable documents in accordance with AGL document handling procedure and maintain physical and digital files in an organized manner. Incident Reporting Prepare and file security incident reports, ensuring they are recorded properly and passed on to relevant personnel for review or action. Procurement Support Make requisition and tracking of security supplies, ensuring that the department has the necessary gears, PPE to function efficiently. Policy Documentation Help prepare and distribute security policies, procedures, and training materials to ensure all staff are informed of the company’s security protocols. Visitor Management Assist with visitor registration and badge issuance, ensuring that all visitors follow company security protocols. Support For Security Audits Prepare documents and reports for internal and external security audits and help track compliance with security regulations and policies. Inventory Management Maintain and update inventory records (Assets Register) for security-related assets such as keys, Radios, Torchlights, and PPE supply etc.
Requirement(s)
A minimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate or GCE Ordinary Level Certificate At least 2 years’ working experience in a similar position Well-developed oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to interact with people of diverse background. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of any access control software will be an advantage Ability to work for long hours with little or no supervision Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrate appropriate assertiveness Must be a team player Medical fitness for the position and environment A valid Ghanaian driver’s license and proficiency in driving light vehicles
