Job Description
• Recommends and implements employee related policies and HR strategies to attract, retain and motivate staff through manpower planning recruitment and selection, performance management system, training and development and compensation and benefits • Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing when interpreting and explaining information relating to business plans, HR strategies, processes, programms and procedures • Develops and maintain cordial management and employee relations and provides counsel to line management on employee related matters to promote industrial peace and productivity • Manages the performance management system as an effective tool for rewards management and career development requirement • Develops and implements a career development and succession planning system that provides backup human resources for continuity in key management positions. • Liaises with company legal advisor on all legal matters affecting employees and other related matters • Maintain and compiles with the internal environmental health and safety management system requirements • Any other duties as assigned Qualification Required & Experience • A minimum of First Degree in Human Resource and Studies Management, Social Science or equivalent qualification required • A minimum of 4 years relevant experience • A plus if candidate has a degree in law • Have in depth knowledge of Ghana’s labour laws
