Job Description

Develop, recommend, and implement pro-active security measures to prevent losses on site and any ATC Ghana’s Properties. Lead and direct investigations on all acts of reported theft within ATC Ghana facilities and/or Fleet upon receiving information from security personnel, Management, external vendors, employees and/or customers. Responsible for overseeing on-site Facilities security contractors to ensure they recruit and retain honest qualified security guards for all our facilities. The role-holder will facilitate training initiatives for ATC Ghana personnel on security procedures to mitigate risk, accident and/or theft. Lead initiatives to identify emerging fraud and theft practices and make presentations to senior management on trends, analysis, and impact of identified trends on department practices, as required. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of security measures and processes and make recommendations for improvements. Coordinate emergency response planning and incident management efforts. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to address security-related issues effectively. Oversee security vendor relationships, contracts, training and service level agreements. Review contracts of all vendors with internal stakeholders to ensure effective cost management and to reduce risk to ATC Ghana.

Requirement(s)

Minimum of bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent preferred. Minimum of 8 years’ experience in fraud prevention, detection and investigations within the telecommunications industry. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proven track record of developing and implementing effective security strategies and programs. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
