Quantity Surveyor
Job Description
The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for cost estimation, budget management and contract administration, tendering. This role ensures that all materials, labor, and subcontractor costs are accurately estimated and monitored throughout the project lifecycle. The QS works closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure financial efficiency while maintaining quality and compliance with project requirements.
Requirement(s)
Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying. Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. or a related field. 5+ years of experience in quantity surveying. Proficiency in cost estimation software (Candy, CostX, AutoCAD, MS Excel, or similar tools). Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and value engineering. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong analytical and communication skills Ability to work with cost estimation software.
