Resource Geologist
Job Description
Job Purpose The Resource Geologist will provide Mineral Resource and Grade control estimation and modelling support to the MRM department. The incumbent will also assist with Geology database and QAQC management in both exploration and mining chain. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Undertake all Resource and Grade Control modelling work and data analysis as required including but not limited to – Lithology and structural models, material type models – oxide, transitional, sulphone, geotechnical modelling, Au and S recovery models.
Requirement(s)
Minimum qualification (s) Degree in Geology/ Geological Engineering/ Earth Science or relevant discipline. AUSIMM/AIG / SAIMM / WAIMM affiliated or similar industry member. Minerals Commission Statutory Certification for Geologist. Valid Ghanaian Driver’s (minimum license B) Experience (Minimum) 5 years working experience with 3 years in a similar role. A proven track record in gold mining operations as well as exploration experience. Demonstrated previous adherence and maximum commitment to following safety protocols and promoting workplace safety.
