Job Description
A potter, also known as a pot maker, is an artisan who shapes clay into functional and decorative objects using various techniques, such as wheel throwing, hand-building, sculpting, and carving.
Requirement(s)
The primary responsibility involves preparing clay by kneading and conditioning it to remove impurities and air bubbles before shaping it into desired forms like bowls, vases, mugs, and sculptures. They operate production machines such as pug mills, jigger machines, or potter's wheels to process clay for the manufacture of ceramic, pottery, and stoneware products.
